This years NBA Allstar game early on looked like it was going to be a blowout in favor to the West squad, but in my opinion it actually turned into a entertaining game with Lebron James of the Miami Heat and Kevin Durant going at each other. Lebron had a NBA record 6 Three-pointers and finished with 36 points, seven assists and six rebounds to nearly lead the East back from a 21-point second-half deficit, but Kevin Durant stole the show. He won the all star game MVP award with 36 points 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. Also in the game Kobe Bryant passed Michael Jordan to become the NBA's career leading scorer in All-Star Game history. He had 27 points, and he also suffered
nasal fracture after hard foul from Miami's Dwyane Wade who also had a good game with getting the third triple double in NBA All-star history.
All in all I felt this was a great all-star game weekend other than the Slam Dunk competition but thats a another.
